Stop the death sentence of Border Collie Casey, the horses Saar and Noortje
Municipality of Het Bildt in the Netehrlands threatens to condemn to death the 18-year-old Saar and the 14-year-old Noortje, because, after 30 years, keeping horses on the outskirts of the village is suddenly banned. Old Border Collie Casey, with cataracts and deaf, at once is declared unwanted. Suddenly, the sixth dog one too many.
We, global citizens, who are concerned with all defenseless animals, note that the municipality of Het Bildt abused her power, to shut up an observant citizen. Whistleblower Kees from municipality of Het Bildt regularly points people on poignant issues in this municipality. Individuals who can’t defend themselves against bureaucracy and injustice can always count on the support of this driven man. Is it resentment or pure display of power? The municipality now threatens his wife and her beloved animals, in order to shut him up.
The horses, the 18-year-old Saar and the 14-year-old Noortje, both born on the grounds, their deceased mother Hinde arrived as a foal more than 30 years ago, will have to go immediately because keeping horses on the outskirts of the village suddenly is banned. The old Border Collie Casey, 15-years of age, living her twilight years or months, deaf and blind will immediately have to go, because the number of dogs is suddenly capped at five, just by chance one less than is currently available.
Shocking is, that Kees and his wife Gerda are living, literally, under the smoke of a big factory that fattens chickens in six weeks. That company got all space and permits !
We requests the Dutch government, the Party for the Animals and all members in the House with a strong heart for animals to stop the death sentence of these horses by age and a dog in her golden years. Stop the cruel intentions of the municipality of Het Bildt.

Stop de ter dood veroordeling van Border Collie Casey, de paarden Saar en Noortje.
Gemeente Het Bildt dreigt de 18 jaar oude Saar en de 14 jaar oude Noortje te laten ruimen omdat na ruim 30 jaar, paarden houden aan de rand van een dorp ineens wordt verboden. Oude Border Collie Casey, met grijze staar en hardhorend zal ook direct in moeten slapen. Ineens is de zesde hond er één te veel.
PETITIE
Wij, burgers die begaan zijn met alle weerloze dieren,
constateren,
dat de gemeente Het Bildt haar macht misbruikt om dieren naar de slachtbank te leiden teneinde een oplettende burger te treffen. Klokkenluider Kees uit gemeente Het Bildt stelt regelmatig schrijnende zaken in de gemeente aan de kaak. Ook individuen die in deze gemeente aan bureaucratie ten onder dreigen te gaan kunnen altijd rekenen op de steun van deze gedreven man.
Is het rancune of puur machtsvertoon? De gemeente dreigt nu de 18 jaar oude Saar en de 14 jaar oude Noortje te laten ruimen omdat, na ruim 30 jaar, het houden van paarden aan de rand van het dorp ineens wordt verboden. Ook de oude Border Collie Casey, met grijze staar, hardhorend en bezig aan haar laatste maanden zal direct in moeten slapen omdat het aantal honden plotsklaps wordt gemaximeerd op vijf, toevallig net één minder dan nu aanwezig.
Saignant detail, Kees en zijn vrouw Gerda wonen, letterlijk, onder de rook van een grote kippenmesterij, die wèl alle ruimte en vergunningen kreeg…
en verzoeken,
de Partij voor de Dieren en alle leden in de Tweede Kamer met een hart voor dieren zich sterk te maken om de terdoodveroordeling van deze paarden op leeftijd en een hond in haar nadagen, door de gemeente Het Bildt, te voorkomen.
